Hi everyone, this is Al's Country Disco.

I started my music life in 1958 in a skiffle group, that followed with a band called the
Conrads Comedy Show Band which played from the late sixties into the eighties.

In 1984 we changed the name to Stiches Comedy Show Band in which I played lead guitar up until 1989 when I left.

I then became a scout leader in the Pencoed Scouts for six years and in 1990 I started out as a DJ.

I was asked to DJ for line dancing in Bridgend O.C.L.P one Sunday night and 15 years later we are still there.
